Most folks are born with two kidneys, but did you know some people have three 💜 💜 💜 ? When you’re born with more than two, those extras are called supernumerary kidneys and it’s extremely rare, with fewer than 100 known cases. Having three kidneys is more common following a transplant — they hook up the new one and leave the old one in!
